Honored to receive the Troland Research Award, recognizing interdisciplinary research shaping the future of neuroscience and education systems worldwide.

The complexity of the human brain demands an interdisciplinary approach.

My research has been shaped by collaboration across neuroscience, psychology, education, and data science. Each of these fields contributes a unique perspective, allowing for a more comprehensive understanding of learning.

This collaborative approach has been essential in studying reading development. It has enabled us to integrate biological, cognitive, and environmental factors into a unified framework.

The future of education will depend on this kind of integration. By bringing together diverse expertise, we can develop systems that are both scientifically informed and practically effective.

This recognition highlights the value of interdisciplinary work in advancing knowledge and impact.
