Amb. Dr. Deepa Chhagan Lalloo Highlights Change Management for Modern Organisations.

It is all about leaders who motivate and propel their teams by the way they equip them, how they retrain, develop and design and optimise processes, and how they equip people with new skills to meet the changing requirements of the organisation. Amb. Dr. Deepa Chhagan Lalloo, aka Sunaina, brings this to her role as Founder and MD of Altius Global Advisory.

Her career spans over 20 years of human capital strategy, organisational design, shared-services functions, workforce transformation and mergers and acquisitions integration. She served as Executive Director of Human Resources and Human Capital at Ava Care Health Group Global, where she was responsible for designing and establishing human capital function, centralising HR services and 18 subsidiaries covering 12 African countries, the UAE, India and Kazakhstan.

This job required integration of the people functions with governance, finance and technology and operational needs. These responsibilities underscore the need for structured change management when businesses have multiple markets and organisational settings.

Deepa also had involvement in organisational development, talent management, leadership development, succession planning and engagement. These aspects are relevant for companies when they are transforming the organisation to be new ways of working and can help keep staff engaged.

Her approach is founded on the principle that it is human ability that links to organisational performance. To bring about sustainable change, it helps if staff are clear on why change is necessary, leaders are clear on what they expect and there is the right framework in place to enable this.

Deepa has an MSc in Organisational Psychology from the University of London. Kennedy University conferred on her in 2026 the Peace Ambassadorship and an honorary degree in Organisational Psychology, Strategic Management and Leadership.
