Amb. Dr. Deepa Chhagan Lalloo Highlights the Strategic Value of Business Advisory.

Business advisory is useful for organisations to assess issues, set goals and make strategies to pursue these objectives without deviating from the organisation's targets. Amb. Dr. Deepa Chhagan Lalloo (Sunaina) has a wide range of experience, through her executive leadership, organisational psychology and business opportunities.

As Founder and Managing Director of Altius Global Advisory, she works with clients to increase human capability, organisational effectiveness and leadership performance. Her consulting style balances insights into people with understanding of business infrastructure, systems and commercial imperatives.

Prior to joining Avacare Health Group Global, she was responsible for Human Capital services with 18 subsidiary companies across 12 African countries, UAE, India and Kazakhstan. Her Human Capital remit included organisation design, governance, development of shared-services, transformation of the workforce and mergers and acquisitions integration.

She led projects in BDO such as talent management, leadership development, succession planning, learning and development, performance management and employee engagement. This forms the basis of her understanding of how human capital decisions are linked to broader business strategies.

Her entrepreneurial experience also comes through the founding of Bakeology Studio in 2019, which started trading in 2020 and expanded across multiple concepts, thus providing her with a practical understanding of business development, customer experience, operating planning and resource management.

Deepa obtained a MSc in Organisational Psychology from the University of London and a BA from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. Kennedy University conferred on her in 2026 a Peace Ambassadorship, and an honourary doctorate with the specialisation in Organisational Psychology, Strategic Management and Leadership.
