Amb. Dr. Deepa Chhagan Lalloo Connects Continuous Learning with Professional Advancement.

Dr. Deepa Chhagan Lalloo (Sunaina) represents the principles of lifelong learning, executive leadership, professional development and entrepreneurship by her combination of academic pursuits, executive level management and entrepreneurship.

Her academic development includes an MSc (Organisational Psychology) from the University of London and a BA from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. She has additional training in a number of domains such as business sustainability management, managerial finance, business strategy, organisational design and change management.

She combines this learning and experiential knowledge with her role as Founder and Managing Director of Altius Global Advisory. Her work specialises in organisation effectiveness, leadership capacity, people and the systems to enable business success.

Prior to this, she was responsible for the operational development of human capital at Ava Care Health Group Global and worked on talent management and organisation development projects at BDO. She was an assessor for the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme, Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, bridging the gap between executive learning and professional practice.

While her experience shows the benefits of on-going learning for those transitioning across roles, sectors and management contexts, it also underlines the importance of knowledge as 'something you do' rather than as a destination in its own right.

Kennedy University in 2026, Deepa was awarded a Peace Ambassadorship and an honorary doctorate in 2026 (specialising Organisational Psychology, Strategic Management and Leadership).
