Digitalisation is broadly a word associated with a way organisations utilise resources, refine processes and contribute towards the achievement of long-term sustainable development.

This is the topic of Amb. Dr. Witney Emmanuel Laizer's thesis, with regards to healthcare, within her larger experience in business and finance.

Her PhD dissertation is about the advantages and limitations of sustainable healthcare services in Germany. She studies, for example, digitalisation, innovation, resource management, waste treatment and the effectiveness of cross-stakeholder collaboration.

This work was guided by the experience of Laizer. She has worked in financial administration, accounting, billing, collections, reporting, and sales and marketing. Currently she is a Senior Billing & Collections Administrator at Macrogen Europe BV.

She is responsible for billing, account monitoring, collection and financial administration. Previous positions at Delta Electronics, Alter Domus and Greenlane have given her experience in accountancy, reconciliations, financial records and reporting.

Her educational credentials encompass a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and Finance Management (Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences), an MBA (University of the People) and a PhD in Business, Management, Public Health and Sustainability (Selinus University).

Ironhack 2026 - Data Analytics Programme Laizer also enrolled in 2026 for a self-motivated Data Analytics programme at Laizer 2026 - Data Analytics Programme. Ironhack was the career-oriented tech-specific contribution to her resume.
