A matter that has contributed to the professional development of Amb. Dr. Witney Emmanuel Laizer during her residency in the Netherlands was the process of acquiring new skills in the field of medicine, which enhanced her diverse academic and professional profile.

Following the completion of her Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and Finance Management at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, Laizer proceeded to take her MBA at the University of the People, and a PhD in Business, Management, Public Health and Sustainability at Selinus University.

Her professional experiences in the Netherlands included various business operations. At Wittenborg University she is involved in sales & marketing, facilitating our relations with our students and customers, sales coordination, events, reporting, and more.

She then moved to take up finance administration role at Delta Electronics and then moved into accounting and corporate administration at Alter Domus. She continued to enhance her experience in invoicing, account administration, reconciliations and reporting at Greenlane.

From 2020, she has been working at Macrogen Europe BV as a Senior Billing & Collection Administrator, where she deals with billing coordination, monitoring of the accounts, reminder of payments, collections and financial reporting.

The practical experience is growing alongside her research projects. Her doctoral thesis deals with sustainability in care services in Germany, combining aspects of resource use, innovation and digitalisation, waste management and cooperation of parties.

Furthermore, Laizer has bolstered her skill set with a Data Analytics Programme from Ironhack 2026, adding the latest analytical course to her profile in finance and business.
