Roosevelt International University (RIU) is celebrating a significant milestone in its ongoing institutional growth in Florida as it continues to emphasize academic growth, responsible administration and accessible learning opportunities.

RIU is located in St. Petersburg, Florida, and is providing flexible educational opportunities and a growing line-up of academic programs to the United States and world learners alike. The University's institutional priorities are transparent policies, effective governance, student services and continuous improvement.

This is why it is critical to keep institutional information open and visible in the Florida higher education system, and why the development of RIU is important. The Commission for Independent Education, as part of the Florida Department of Education, has statutory duties regarding non public postsecondary institutions such as policies, administration, consumer protection, and licensing. Institutional licensing/rgn is not the same as accreditation (evaluation by accrediting agency).

The university holds that it is important that prospective students are aware of the requirements of the program, institutional and academic expectations prior to enrollment.

RIU's academic interests include undergraduate degrees, graduate degrees, doctoral, ministry, theological and leadership-related. The institution strives to assist students with diverse educational and career goals with flexible learning opportunities, critical thinking, and lifelong learning.

With the ongoing institutional development, RIU plans to enhance systems to help academic management, faculty involvement, student services and quality assurance. These priorities are in line with a broader commitment to responsible educational practices and to the ongoing improvement of the institution.

For prospective students and interested stakeholders, there is information on the university's official website that they can check out.
