In just a few months since launch, the platform has powered a growing number of caravan journeys across the country. Families on monsoon escapes through the Western Ghats, couples chasing sunsets along the Konkan coast, friend groups exploring the deserts of Rajasthan, and corporate teams retreating to the hills outside Bengaluru have all turned to BookMyCaravan to design trips that traditional hotels and tour operators simply cannot match.

“Caravan travel in India was treated as a novelty for too long. We saw it differently,” said a spokesperson from the BookMyCaravan founding team, based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. “Indian travellers are ready for a category that gives them privacy, comfort, and complete control over their itinerary. With luxury caravans, hand-picked campsites, and a professional driver on every journey, we are building the infrastructure for that future.”

The company is investing aggressively in fleet quality, technology, and vendor partnerships, with a sharp focus on luxury motorhomes equipped with private bedrooms, ensuite bathrooms, climate control, kitchenettes, and on-board entertainment. Tariffs across the platform range from premium campervans starting at ₹9,999 per day to luxury motorhomes at ₹15,000 and above, positioning BookMyCaravan as a credible alternative to five-star resorts and serviced villas.

Beyond rentals, BookMyCaravan is building India’s first nationwide network of verified, caravan-friendly campsites, with on-ground partners offering scenic stay points, power and water hookups, and curated experiences from stargazing dinners to coastal bonfire evenings.

Looking ahead, the company is aiming to bring the entire caravan ecosystem under one roof. The roadmap includes onboarding caravan manufacturers, launching a dedicated caravan merchandise and accessories store, and integrating every layer of the lifestyle, from rentals and campsites to ownership and gear, into a single trusted destination for Indian caravan enthusiasts.

The company is rapidly onboarding new caravan operators, campsite hosts, and route partners across India, with deeper coverage planned for leisure corridors such as Goa, Coorg, Udaipur, the Konkan coast, and the Himalayan foothills. New launches in the pipeline include a curated experiences layer, corporate offsite packages, and India’s first caravan loyalty programme.
