A proud alumna of the University of Maryland (Go Terps!), Dr. Quiros earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine - one of the most respected veterinary programs in the country. Her training has equipped her with the skills to deliver evidence-based care to pets of all kinds.
Dr. Quiros brings a well-rounded set of clinical interests to her role at Caring Hands Animal Hospital. She has a particular passion for behavioral medicine, recognizing the profound impact that emotional health has on a pet's overall quality of life.

Her dedication to senior care reflects her understanding of the unique and evolving needs of aging companions. Additionally, her skills in soft tissue surgery and dentistry mean that patients will benefit from a veterinarian who is equally comfortable delivering routine wellness care and more advanced medical and surgical services.

Outside of her veterinary practice, Dr. Quiros resides in Washington, D.C., with her partner, Nick, and her beloved American Staffordshire Terrier, Big Boy. In her free time, she enjoys playing piano, crocheting, and spending time with friends.
