Located in the Geumsan District of the Waegwan Local Industrial Complex in Chilgok-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, the company operates on a site of 3,030㎡ with a total building area of 819.1㎡. Since the completion of its factory in June 2000, the company has specialized in the production of somyeon (thin wheat noodles).

In its early years, all products were exported exclusively to Japan, where they were recognized for their quality. Responding to the growing domestic demand for premium somyeon, the company began supplying the Korean market in 2004, expanding its business scope while maintaining high production standards.

The company has signed an industry–academia cooperation agreement with the Department of Herbal Food Culinary Nutrition at Daegu Haany University and actively participates in joint industry–academia–research consortium projects. Through this collaboration, the company has focused on the development of functional noodle products based on scientific research and traditional food ingredients.

As its first research project, the company successfully obtained a patent for green tea somyeon, produced using wild green tea grown naturally in the Hwagae area of Jirisan. This product introduced a new level of quality and flavor to green tea noodles. The second project resulted in a patented functional noodle made with black rice, further expanding the company’s functional product lineup.

To ensure consistent quality, the company adopted the ISO 9001:2008 quality management system, applying it directly to its production processes. In addition, its products are sold as a Chilgok-gun specialty item through Post Office Shopping, a mail-order platform operated by the Korea Post Promotion Agency.
