A premium somen noodle manufacturer located in Waegwan-eup, Chilgok-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do is gaining recognition for its dedication to quality, innovation, and functional food development. The company began its operations following the completion of its factory in June 2000, initially producing somen noodles exclusively for export to Japan. Building on its success in overseas markets, the company entered the domestic Korean market in 2004 as consumer interest in premium-quality noodles continued to grow.

Through an industry–academia collaboration with the Department of Herbal Food Culinary Nutrition at Daegu Haany University, the company has participated in joint research consortium projects aimed at developing functional noodle products.
One of its earliest achievements was the development and patent registration of green tea somen noodles made with naturally grown green tea from Hwagae, Jirisan.
