Best Valet Parking Software in 2026: Why "Ticketless" Isn't Enough

As hotels, hospitals and event venues move valet onto phones, buyers are finding that four questions matter more than any feature list.

SINGAPORE, October 2026

The paper valet ticket is disappearing. Across hotels, restaurants, hospitals and event venues, valet teams are replacing handwritten stubs, radios and end-of-shift cash counts with software that runs on a phone.

But as more platforms enter the market, choosing the best valet parking software has become harder, not easier. Almost every vendor now describes itself as "ticketless." The systems behind that word work in very different ways.

A review of what leading valet software providers publish about their own products shows the market splitting along four clear lines.

1. What the guest actually holds

"Ticketless" can mean three different things.

Some platforms send the guest a digital ticket, a code or image on their phone that replaces the paper stub. Others, such as O-Valet and Oobeo, let operators choose between paper, plastic and SMS tickets at each location, which suits groups moving off paper in stages.

A third group removes the ticket entirely. The guest's phone number becomes the identifier, and a text link lets them track and request their car. PUR Valet and Summon both offer SMS-based retrieval. ValeKit, a valet-only platform built by Singapore-based Flowlyn Labs, goes a step further by recognising returning guests by phone number as check-in begins.

For buyers, the difference matters. Mixed-format systems offer flexibility during a transition. SMS-only systems keep every vehicle in the same digital record.

2. How much hardware comes with it

Hardware is where valet platforms differ most.

Several providers, including ValeKit, PUR Valet and Oobeo, run on the iOS and Android phones a valet team already carries. Summon offers optional card readers, or none at all with Tap to Pay on iPhone.

Others position valet as part of a wider site installation. O-Valet offers kiosks, barcode scanners, label printers and gate arm integration as add-ons. FlashParking covers garages, surface lots and EV charging, with camera-based access control and kiosks in its broader system.

Neither approach is wrong, but they lead to very different timelines. A phone-based system can often go live within days. A hardware installation is a project.

3. Whether pricing is public

Roughly half the market publishes its prices.

ValeKit, Summon and O-Valet list pricing online, with entry plans starting at around $99 per month. PUR Valet, Oobeo and FlashParking share pricing through a demo or sales conversation.

Published pricing also tends to show something buyers often miss: the overage rate. Valet volume is seasonal and event-driven, and the cost per ticket above a plan's included volume is what shows up on the bill in a busy month.

4. Where the money lands

The question buyers most often forget to ask is whose merchant account receives guest payments and tips.

Some platforms process payments through the operator's own account. ValeKit uses Stripe Connect, so funds settle directly to the operator. Summon also runs on Stripe, and Oobeo works with most payment processors, including Square.

The answer affects how quickly operators are paid and who handles chargebacks, and it can be difficult to change after signing.
Why it matters now

The shift is being driven by guest expectations as much as operations. Fewer guests carry cash, which affects tipping. Few want to download an app to collect a car. And hotels, hospitals and event venues increasingly treat the wait at the kerb as part of the guest experience, not a back-of-house detail.

Questions buyers should ask

Industry guidance for operators evaluating valet parking software in 2026 centres on four questions:

What happens if a guest doesn't have a phone?

What is the rate above the included monthly volume?

Whose account do guest payments and tips land in?

How long from signing to the first car parked?

The answers usually narrow a shortlist faster than any feature comparison.
