Anantara Hoi An Resort has unveiled its most significant transformation since opening in 2013, introducing new riverfront suites, an enhanced riverside pool experience and a refreshed dining destination overlooking the Thu Bon River.
The extensive enhancement programme has been designed to strengthen the resort's connection with Hoi An's cultural heritage and riverside setting while creating a more personalised and immersive experience for guests.
A key highlight is the introduction of eight new Thu Bon River Suites, alongside the complete renovation of 10 Premium River Suites. The resort's signature suite has also been transformed into the new Anantara Two-Bedroom River Suite, providing an elevated accommodation option for families, couples and groups.
All 19 suites have been refreshed with interiors that combine French colonial influences with Asian design elements inspired by Hoi An's distinctive heritage. Spacious split-level layouts, private balconies or terraces and uninterrupted views of the Thu Bon River create a seamless connection between the accommodation and its surroundings.
Suite guests can also enjoy a range of enhanced services and benefits, including dedicated room host support, in-suite check-in and check-out, one complimentary 60-minute spa treatment per person per stay and exclusive access to the private steam room at Anantara Spa.
Additional benefits include luxury beach bags, bath salts, premium tea selections and a welcome bottle of wine. Guests staying in the Two-Bedroom River Suite and Garden Suite categories can also access private wine fridge rental.
A New Riverside Pool Experience
The resort's pool area has also undergone a complete redesign, creating a tropical sanctuary overlooking the Thu Bon River.
The enhanced pool area features elegant cabanas, oversized loungers and landscaped gardens designed to complement the natural riverside environment. Guests can enjoy quiet morning swims, relaxed afternoons by the water or sunset drinks while taking in the surrounding views.
The new design adds another dimension to the resort's leisure offering, providing a tranquil space where guests can relax and socialise while remaining connected to Hoi An's riverside atmosphere.
Art Space Restaurant & Bar Reimagined
The transformation also extends to Art Space Restaurant & Bar, which has been redesigned around a vibrant tropical-inspired terrace concept.
The refreshed venue features signature cocktails, tapas-style dishes and freshly prepared pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven. A stylish sit-up bar provides a social gathering point, while a dedicated performance stage hosts live music events.
The restaurant continues to celebrate creativity through original artwork created by local and international artists based in Vietnam. Guests can choose between the air-conditioned indoor setting and the open-air terrace while enjoying the updated food and beverage offering.
The resort continues to offer its Deluxe Balcony Rooms and Deluxe Garden Suites, together with additional dining venues, Anantara Spa and four meeting spaces.
“This is the most exciting evolution of the resort since opening more than a decade ago,” said Ross Sanders, Area General Manager for Vietnam. “From the introduction of our new Thu Bon River Suites and the transformation of our pool area to the complete reimagining of Art Space Restaurant & Bar, every enhancement has been designed to celebrate Hoi An's rich heritage and deep connection to the Thu Bon River.”
The latest improvements mark a new chapter for Anantara Hoi An Resort, combining riverside accommodation, wellness, dining and leisure experiences in the heart of one of Vietnam's most celebrated heritage destinations.
