THE AFRICA INTERNATIONAL COMEDY FESTIVAL LAUNCH

The Humour Awards Academy unveiled the logo for the Africa International Comedy Festival AICF. Designed to scale regional talent for international distribution, AICF is a founding partnership with Dennis Ampong Boateng of Creative Republic Ltd, organizers of the Ghana Comedy Awards.

The Academy invited comedy award bodies, guild executives, producers, and stakeholders across Africa to align under this unified creative ecosystem.

Concurrently, leadership presented the logo for The Humour Factory Comedy Club The HFCC, an upcoming live performance venue. Both initiatives were introduced by Uche Dominic, Founder of The Humour Awards, and it's Media Director, Blackdrum 360 business and partnership manager, Amanda David (Ermandha).

PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT AND CATEGORY RESOLUTIONS
The fourth edition competitive index yielded the following results:

Digital creator Taaooma secured a triple sweep, winning Best Comedy Actress, Online Female Skitmaker, and Comedy Drama Series for the Bbl series. These mark her first competitive victories at the academy.

First-time nominee Craze Clown won Online Skitmaker Male and Best Comedy Actor for Anger Management.

The Revelation of the Year category was won by creator Dezny whose signature walk has taken social media by storm. Sponsor Minimie allocated a cash prize of 1.5 million naira to the category winner.

MC Monica won Stand up Comedian of the Year.

Albert Ohams Ohams Brush, current Cartoon Editor for The Sun Newspaper Nigeria for 35 years, was awarded Best Cartoon Illustrator of the Year on his third nomination.

CULTURE AND INDUSTRY DELEGATES

The ceremony drew an executive delegation across media, administrative, and diplomatic sectors, including:
