Swindon, Wiltshire, 14 October 2026. JM Square Hot Tubs, a local hire business based in Swindon, has confirmed that its hot tub installation and rental service now reaches Wroughton, Watchfield, Highworth and Broad Blunsdon as well as Swindon itself. Customers pick their dates, the team brings the tub to the garden, fills it, gets it running and comes back afterwards to take it away. Nobody has to buy a tub, find somewhere to store it in January, or work out how the water chemistry behaves.

The idea is simple. Plenty of households fancy a hot tub for a birthday, a weekend with the relatives or a garden party, yet very few want to spend a large sum on something they will use a handful of times a year. Hiring gets around that. You have the tub for the occasion, you give it back, and the question of where to put it in February never comes up.

Hot tub installation is the part most people worry about, so it is worth being plain about what it involves. The customer needs a flat, stable area of roughly 3m by 3m, an outdoor plug socket and a standard garden hose within reach. Grass, decking and patios all work, and protective flooring is supplied if the surface needs it. There is no special plumbing to arrange. Setting up takes somewhere between 30 and 45 minutes, and the team explains the basics of water care before leaving, with filters, chemicals and a usage guide included in the hire.

Professional hot tub installation matters more than it sounds. A tub sitting on uneven ground is uncomfortable and can be unsafe, and one that is connected badly will heat slowly or not at all. Because the JM Square team handles delivery, set-up and collection, those problems stay with them. Beyond that, the only thing asked of the customer is that somebody is home when the tub arrives and when it is collected.

The tub itself is the Lay-Z-Spa Helsinki AirJet, styled after the traditional Nordic wooden hot tub and big enough for up to seven adults. It heats to 40 degrees, and the AirJet system keeps the water bubbling and warm, which is why it copes happily with a cold evening. Heating does take time, usually 10 to 12 hours depending on the weather, so same-day hire is not offered. The tub is delivered and filled the day before it is wanted, and weekend slots disappear quickly. Anyone planning a celebration is better off asking early than hoping for a gap.

JM Square does not make tubs. It hires them. Among hot tub manufacturers, the Lay-Z-Spa name is a familiar one, and it suits hire work because the tubs are portable, quick to prepare and simple to keep clean. Every tub is drained and disinfected before it is refilled for the next household, which is the sort of detail that people rarely think about until they are about to climb in.

For residents looking for hot tub rental in Highworth or hot tub rental in Broad Blunsdon, the practical difference is who turns up. Those customers deal with a local team rather than a national call centre. Delivery is free within Swindon, so households in the surrounding villages are asked to get in touch for details when they enquire. Wroughton and Watchfield are covered in the same way, and the team is happy to talk through access, parking and where the tub might sit before anything is booked.

Most hires are built around an event, so JM Square offers extras to go with the tub. A gazebo adds privacy and keeps the worst of the weather off, which makes more difference than people expect. Disco lights, portable barbecues, Bluetooth speakers and drink tables are also available for anyone who wants the full party package. Customers who have used the service have praised the cleanliness of the tub and the lack of fuss on the day, and one mentioned the gazebo by name.

Booking is deliberately low-pressure. Customers can check availability on the website, send a message on WhatsApp, ring 07393 132513 or email [email protected]. No payment is taken online. The team confirms the booking first, and money changes hands only after that. If plans fall through, a full refund is available when cancellation is made at least seven days ahead. After the hire, the tub is collected the next day.

The company says winter is not a reason to wait. A 40 degree soak while the garden is cold and damp is one of the better reasons to own a pair of flip-flops in November. That is a light-hearted way of making a fair point: hot tubs are not only a summer pleasure, and bookings for colder months are welcome. Couples looking for a quiet evening, parents planning a family weekend and friends organising a garden gathering are all the kind of customers the service was designed around.
