Kempinski Hotel Beijing Yansha Center has announced the appointment of Michéle Müller as Hotel Manager. Bringing over 25 years of hospitality experience across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, Michéle steps into this leadership role to oversee the hotel's daily operations and strategic management.
A German national, Michéle began her career training as a chef in Germany before expanding her experience across Switzerland, Italy, Ireland, and Qatar. In the United Arab Emirates, she served as Chef de Cuisine and Executive Sous Chef at Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi and Hyatt Capital Gate, managing a team of nearly 80 across culinary, stewarding, and service.
Michéle has achieved notable milestones throughout her career. At Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin, she became the property's first female Chef de Cuisine, and afterwards
served as Interim Executive Chef overseeing all à la carte outlets. In January 2021, she joined the pre-opening team of Kempinski Palace Engelberg in Switzerland as Executive Chef—becoming the first female Executive Chef at a Swiss five-star hotel—where the property earned 14 Gault Millau points within three months of opening.
At Kempinski Palace Engelberg, she was promoted to Director of Food & Beverage in charge of Culinary Operations, leading a team of 56 and launching the hotel’s first F&B-focused management trainee programme. In December 2024, she advanced to Executive Assistant Manager in charge of Food & Beverage, acting as deputy to the General Manager with shared responsibility for strategic and commercial management.
