MUMBAI, INDIA — MAAC India (Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics) today announced continued enrolment for VFX Plus, its flagship career program in visual effects, as studios across film, television, streaming, and gaming compete for trained VFX talent. Open to students who have completed Class 12 (10+2), the program offers a direct route from the classroom into professional VFX work.

Spanning 388 hours, VFX Plus blends theory, guided software labs, and studio-style project work under the supervision of working VFX professionals. Students build hands-on fluency across the tools studios actually use — Nuke, Adobe After Effects, and Fusion for compositing; Mocha and Silhouette for roto and paint; Houdini and RealFlow for simulation and effects work; VUE for environments; and Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Photoshop for editing and finishing.

The program is structured around real production workflows rather than isolated software drills, so students leave with practical experience across the pipeline — from raw footage to a finished, delivery-ready shot.

By the end of the program, students have assembled a portfolio through live-style project briefs and are positioned for entry-level roles including FX Artist, VFX Generalist, Roto & Paint Artist, Compositor, Motion Graphics Artist, and Video Editor. Because the curriculum tracks global VFX standards, graduates are prepared to pursue opportunities with both Indian and international studios. MAAC's dedicated placement cell supports students in making those connections after certification.
