The bespoke system was designed to significantly reduce the company’s electricity costs and support their ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility.

Following a comprehensive technical survey and roof assessment, the expert solar panel installation team at
M&E Contrax Renewables developed a fully customised solar solution that maximised the site’s energy potential while preserving key roof features such as skylights and flue outlets.

The team strategically designed the solar layout to take full advantage of the building’s south-facing roof, while preserving natural light access through existing skylights. A premium speed rail commercial mounting system was used to ensure a low-profile appearance and to maintain a clean aesthetic with fully concealed cable routing beneath the panels.

- External inverter system with IP-rated weatherproofing


To further improve efficiency and visual appeal, the externally mounted inverter was installed on the north side of the building, allowing for efficient cable routing with minimal disruption to the client’s daily operations.
Since going live, the system has already delivered over 56% of the company’s electricity needs, effectively halving their energy bills. As seasonal solar exposure increases, these savings are expected to grow even further.
