As consumer demand for portable, light-protected aluminum beverage packaging accelerates across global retail markets, independent producers face a structural barrier: choosing between costly automated canning lines or high-minimum contract packaging services. Addressing this gap, European engineering innovator Eazy Canning has launched its flagship compact equipment suite, featuring the FENIX Can Filler and the iKAN Can Seamer.
Designed specifically for small-to-medium beverage brands, craft breweries, coffee shops, taprooms, and mobile bar operators, the Eazy Canning system allows producers to package high-quality canned products directly on a standard prep counter without high capital expenditure.
Solving Thermal Breakout and Oxygen Oxidation
A primary bottleneck for micro-producers canning carbonated or oxidation-sensitive drinks, such as cold brew coffee, craft beer, kombucha, and ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails is preserving flavor integrity without industrial equipment.
The FENIX Can Filler addresses this challenge through manual counter-pressure fluid mechanics. Operating with zero electricity, the 4.3 kg unit pressurizes empty containers with carbon dioxide up to 4 bars prior to liquid entry. By matching line pressure inside the vessel, the filler eliminates thermal gas breakout and foaming, ensuring exact fill volumes and minimal product waste. Furthermore, an integrated CO2 purge cycle removes atmospheric oxygen before filling, keeping dissolved oxygen (DO) pickup remarkably low to preserve delicate hop aromatics and botanical terpenes.
Factory-Grade Seam Integrity in a Desktop Footprint
Complementing the filling head, the iKAN Can Seamer provides precise, hermetic double-seaming in a compact format (44 x 18 cm). Weighing 18 kg, the benchtop unit processes up to 10 cans per minute and operates on standard 230V power with an ultra-low energy draw of just 90W (1.3A). The machine supports a broad spectrum of container sizes, from 200 ml slim cans up to 1000 ml (1-liter) draft crowlers.
