Stellar Cyber and ESET Bring Threat Intelligence to AI-Driven SecOps

Stellar Cyber, an open AI-native security operations company, has announced a strategic technology partnership with ESET, a global cybersecurity company, to integrate ESET Threat Intelligence into the Stellar Cyber Open Threat Intelligence Platform.

The integration is designed to streamline threat detection, investigation, and response for joint customers without requiring them to manage a separate threat intelligence platform. By making ESET's threat intelligence available directly within Stellar Cyber's AI-driven SecOps platform, organizations can operationalize threat intelligence as part of their existing security operations.

As cyber threats continue to evolve in speed and sophistication, security operations teams require threat intelligence that can directly improve detection and response. Through the partnership, organizations can use ESET's threat research and Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) to strengthen security operations across network, endpoint, cloud, identity, SaaS, and security infrastructure.

ESET threat hunters analyze more than 750,000 suspicious samples and 2.5 billion URLs each day. The resulting intelligence includes malicious IP addresses, domains, URLs, file hashes, and other threat artifacts.

Unlike approaches that use threat intelligence primarily to enrich alerts after they are generated, Stellar Cyber applies ESET intelligence during data ingestion. As telemetry enters the platform, it is evaluated against ESET's continuously updated indicators before AI analytics, correlation, investigations, and automated response processes begin.

This approach is designed to provide:

Earlier and higher-fidelity threat detection
Greater context around security events
Improved alert prioritization
Faster investigations
Reduced analyst workload
Threat intelligence across network, endpoint, cloud, identity, SaaS, and security infrastructure
“ESET has earned a global reputation for its highly actionable, curated threat intelligence, which cuts through the noise and provides real-world attack visibility from the cyber front lines,” said Andrew Homer, Senior Vice President of Strategic Alliances at Stellar Cyber. “By integrating ESET Threat Intelligence directly into our Open Threat Intelligence Platform, we're helping customers operationalize that intelligence where it delivers the greatest value—during data ingestion. Rather than simply enriching alerts after the fact, we enable intelligence to become part of the detection process itself, allowing organizations to detect threats earlier, investigate faster, and respond with greater confidence.”
