Master Power Offers SCR-Based Emissions Control for Stationary Diesel Engines
Richmond Hill, ON – July 15, 2025 – Master Power, a provider of industrial compressed air and power equipment, offers Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems designed to support emissions control in diesel engine applications.
The SCR system is suitable for industrial and stationary diesel engines where compliance with NOx emission standards is a requirement. The system uses Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) to facilitate the chemical conversion of nitrogen oxides into nitrogen and water vapor, helping reduce the environmental impact of engine exhaust.
System Overview:
Function: Reduces nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions by injecting urea-based DEF into the exhaust stream.
Additional Capabilities: Depending on configuration, the system can also assist in lowering levels of carbon monoxide (CO), ammonia (NH₃), hydrogen cyanide (HCN), and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
Configurations Available: Offered in both standard and custom-engineered formats to suit a range of power generation and industrial applications.
Support: Includes consultation for sizing, layout, and regulatory compliance.
Master Power's SCR systems are part of a broader portfolio aimed at helping industrial operations manage performance and emissions responsibly. The product is available across Canada and the U.S. through Master Power’s team and distribution network.
