Bhubaneswar, Odisha: EducationWorld India has placed ODM Public School at the top of its Day-cum-Boarding School rankings for Bhubaneswar and Odisha for the second year running. In the EducationWorld India School Rankings 2026–27, honoured on 22nd October 2026, the school also holds an All India Rank of 14. For families looking for the best schools in Bhubaneswar, the result adds an independent data point to what the school's own community experiences every day.

Dr Satyabrata Minaketan, Chairman of ODM Educational Group, received the honours on behalf of the institution at an awards ceremony held at Hotel Pullman, New Delhi.

Rank at a Glance
● Position: No. 1 in Bhubaneswar and Odisha, Day-cum-Boarding School category
● Streak: Second consecutive year at the top
● National standing: All India Rank 14

Why a Second Year at the Top Matters

One strong year can be a matter of timing. Two in a row starts to look like a habit. For ODM Public School, holding the No. 1 position in Odisha for a second year points to steadiness in how the school teaches, supports and encourages its students, rather than a single standout season.

That steadiness is built from ordinary things done well: structured academic support, regular mentoring, and room for students to grow beyond textbooks.

What Sits Behind the Number

The school's approach to learning brings academics, competitive preparation, co-academics and sport into one picture. Classroom teaching is supported by mentoring and assessment, and students preparing for JEE and NEET work towards those goals with guidance rather than last-minute pressure. In 2026, the school recorded a 100% result in Class X, and 23 ODMians qualified for JEE Advanced.

Away from examinations, students take part in the LEAP Series and Model United Nations, and represent the school in sport, from CBSE Far East Zone skating to an international fencing silver medal in Batumi, Georgia. Among the best schools in Bhubaneswar, this breadth reflects what parents tell us they value.

Words From the Leadership

Speaking on behalf of the institution, Dr Satyabrata Minaketan, Chairman of ODM Educational Group, said,
"A ranking is the sum of many quiet efforts: a teacher who stays back after class, a parent who trusts the process, a student who keeps trying. To everyone who makes ODM Public School what it is, thank you."

Reflecting on the recognition, Mr Swoyan Satyendu, CEO of ODM Educational Group, said,
"Holding the top position for a second year is not about defending a title. It is about staying true to what we believe: that strong academics and strong values belong together."

Beyond the Rank

More families now look at independent rankings when they compare schools, and that is a sensible place to start. A campus visit, a conversation with teachers and a look at how students speak about their school will tell the rest of the story.
As ODM Public School builds on this result, its direction stays the same: strong academics, disciplined values and all-round development. For parents exploring the best schools in Bhubaneswar, this recognition is another reason to visit the school for themselves.
