Parkland Animal Clinic is proud to welcome Dr. Chelsea Nahous, DVM, as the newest member of its veterinary team. Dr. Nahous brings a strong academic record, veterinary practice experience across four countries, and a deeply personalized approach to pet care that aligns with the clinic's commitment to whole-pet wellness for dogs and cats throughout Parkland, Coral Springs, Coconut Creek, and West Boca Raton. Dr. Nahous earned both her Bachelor of Science in Biology and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from St. George's University in Grenada, where she was born and raised. She was the recipient of a full-ride scholarship for both degrees and graduated Magna Cum Laude, a distinction that reflects her academic excellence and professional dedication. Her international career spans veterinary practice in four different countries, giving her a broad clinical perspective informed by diverse case experience.
Her areas of special interest include dermatology, emergency medicine, and surgery, three disciplines that require sharp diagnostic instincts, decisive action, and a thorough understanding of how individual patients respond to treatment. Dr. Nahous holds Fear Free Certification, underscoring her commitment to keeping patients calm, comfortable, and cooperative throughout every visit. She tailors her approach to each animal's temperament and medical history, recognizing that no two pets or cases are ever the same.
