The GentleMax Pro, made in the USA, is a dual-wavelength system pairing Alexandrite at 755nm with Nd:YAG at 1064nm. The Soprano Titanium Special Edition, made in Israel, uses triple-wavelength diode technology. Between them the platforms cover fine vellus hair, coarse terminal hair and hair on tanned or darker skin, which no single wavelength handles equally well.
