Mahindra ended June 2026 on a strong note, with healthy sales coming in from its SUV, tractor and trucks and buses businesses. The numbers do not tell a flashy story, but they do show a company that is still moving well across the board.
In the auto business, Mahindra sold 60,393 SUVs in the domestic market in June 2026. This was a growth of 28% compared with the same month last year. If you include exports, the company sold 61,504 utility vehicles. Total vehicle sales, including exports, stood at 1,06,207 units, up 37% year on year. Domestic commercial vehicle sales also stood at 26,076 units, growing 35%, while exports jumped sharply to 5,918 units. That export number stands out because it shows the company is not only depending on Indian demand.
Mahindra's farm equipment business also had a solid month. The company sold 58,177 tractors in the domestic market in June 2026, which was 12% higher than the same month last year. Including exports, total tractor sales came to 59,935 units. This was also up 12%. Exports stood at 1,758 tractors, which was an 8% rise. The company said the month was supported by steady rural demand, even though the wider farm environment still has some uncertainty in it. Still, the tractor business kept its pace, and that is the main takeaway here.
Mahindra's trucks and buses business also had a balance month. The carmaker sold 3,249 vehicles in this segment, including exports, in June 2026. This was a 5% increase compared with the same month last year. The growth is lower than what the SUV and tractor businesses reported but it still adds to the company's overall performance.
Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO of Mahindra's Automotive Division, said the brand's SUV and LCVs below 3.5 tonnes recorded tough growth in June 2026. He further added that the overall sales number reflect healthy demand across the company portfolio.
