Independent artist Repeater the Great announces the release of a new electronic music single, “Peace and Prosperity,” featuring what is believed to be the earliest recorded voice of a United States president—Benjamin Harrison—captured in 1889.
The track transforms a brief archival recording of Harrison into a modern electronic composition, blending 19th-century history with contemporary sound design. The title comes directly from a phrase spoken by Harrison in the original recording.
“This is more than a song—it’s a collision of eras,” said Repeater the Great. “You’re hearing a voice from 1889 placed into a completely modern sonic world. It’s strange, patriotic, and a little surreal.”
The release arrives ahead of the United States’ upcoming 250th anniversary, positioning “Peace and Prosperity” as an early contribution to a historic national milestone.
The track is now available on all major streaming platforms.
