Completed in March 2026, the project saw Rhino Play design and install a dedicated assault course tailored specifically for secondary school pupils, alongside a bespoke amphitheatre seating area for the academy's memorial garden.

Unlike traditional playground equipment designed for younger children, the fitness trail was created to support upper body and core strength training during PE lessons. The academy wanted equipment suitable for teenagers while ensuring its main playing field remained available for other sports and activities.

Rhino Play positioned the course in the corner of the field, with galvanised steel ground feet used to improve durability and reduce maintenance. Rubber Grass Mats were installed beneath the equipment, which includes an overhead ladder, pull-up and somersault bars, parallel bars and a slatted bench for rest breaks.

Alongside the fitness trail, Rhino Play also created bespoke CNC-engraved amphitheatre seating for the academy's memorial garden, with wording selected by the school's Principal.

The project reflects growing demand for outdoor spaces that support both physical wellbeing and wider school life, with bespoke installations designed around each site's available space and educational requirements.
