— Saarathi Finance, a non-banking financial company (NBFC) focused on serving India's MSME sector, has reached a significant growth milestone with the opening of its 100th branch, located in Jagtial, Telangana. The new branch strengthens the company's presence across northern Telangana, bringing faster, more accessible financial solutions to local MSMEs, entrepreneurs, and small business owners.
Jagtial, located about 190 km north of Hyderabad, serves as an important agricultural and commercial center, with a strong base of small and medium enterprises — making it a strategic addition to the company's expanding branch network.
Since beginning operations in April 2025, Saarathi Finance has grown to 100 branches in just over a year, reflecting the company's rapid execution and scaling capability. The NBFC specializes in Loan Against Property (LAP) products, offering ticket sizes ranging from Rs. 5 lakh to Rs. 35 lakh, helping small businesses unlock the value of their assets to fund growth and working capital needs.
Alongside this expansion, Saarathi Finance has crossed Rs. 650 crore in Assets Under Management (AUM). The company now operates across six states Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan with plans for further expansion into high-potential MSME markets across India.
Commenting on the milestone, Vivek Bansal, Founder and CEO of Saarathi Finance, said that crossing 100 branches and Rs. 650 crore in AUM reflects the strength of the company's business model and execution, adding that the focus going forward will remain on sustainable growth, prudent risk management, and building a technology-driven lending franchise.
Shashi Shekhar Vempati, Independent Director at Saarathi Finance, noted that achieving this milestone within just over a year is a testament to the company's vision of combining technology, strong governance, and customer-centricity to drive financial inclusion emphasizing that institutions expanding access to credit for MSMEs will play a key role in supporting entrepreneurship and economic growth as India continues its digital transformation.
Gopal Srinivasan, Chairman and Managing Director of TVS Capital, also congratulated the team, remarking that achieving 100 branches in just over a year reflects strong leadership and disciplined execution a rare combination at such an early stage for a company.
