Saarathi Finance, an NBFC built around MSME lending, has opened its 100th branch in Jagtial, Telangana, extending its network deeper into the northern part of the state. The new branch is aimed at giving local entrepreneurs and small business owners quicker access to formal, customer-focused credit.
Jagtial sits about 190 km north of Hyderabad and functions as a key trading and agricultural town, home to a dense cluster of small and medium enterprises. In the past year alone, Saarathi Finance has added 20 branches across Telangana, giving it a presence throughout the state.
Since launching in April 2025, the company has expanded to 100 branches nationally a pace that highlights its aggressive, execution-focused growth strategy. Its primary product, Loan Against Property (LAP), offers loan sizes between Rs. 5 lakh and Rs. 35 lakh, allowing small business owners to unlock capital tied up in property assets to fund expansion and working capital needs.
The NBFC has also crossed Rs. 650 crore in Assets Under Management (AUM) and currently operates across six states Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan with plans to expand further into underserved MSME markets across India.
Vivek Bansal, Founder and CEO of Saarathi Finance, said the milestone of 100 branches paired with Rs. 650 crore AUM reflects the strength of the company's business model, and that the focus ahead remains on sustainable growth, prudent risk management, and a technology-driven lending approach.
Shashi Shekhar Vempati, Independent Director, said achieving this scale within just over a year demonstrates the company's ability to combine technology, strong governance, and a customer-first approach qualities he called essential to expanding financial inclusion as India continues its digital shift.
Gopal Srinivasan, Chairman and Managing Director of TVS Capital, praised the milestone, noting that scaling to 100 branches in just over a year reflects rare pace and discipline for a young company, and speaks to the calibre of the team driving it. He added that TVS Capital backs founders who build with ambition and rigour, and expressed pride in supporting Saarathi's journey.
