Sugar Kayne Radio has launched a new Saturday Breakfast Show presented by Melisa “Mel” Montagnon, giving listeners a fresh way to start their weekend every Saturday from 7am to 10am.

The new show replaces Mel’s Saturday afternoon slot and sits alongside her Friday Drive Vibes show, which runs from 4pm to 6pm.
Mel brings a wealth of radio experience to the breakfast slot from her time at Wey Valley Radio and as a BBC Radio Producer. Her new Saturday morning show celebrates the biggest hits and hidden gems of the 80s, with feel-good nostalgia and friendly chat to help listeners ease into the weekend.

For Sugar Kayne Radio, the new breakfast show is part of a wider effort to build a stronger weekend line-up.
Speaking about the new show, Matthew Kayne, founder of Sugar Kayne Radio, said: “I’m really pleased to welcome Mel to our Saturday mornings. She has been a brilliant part of the Sugar Kayne Radio family, and her passion for music and her warm presenting style always come through on air.
“Breakfast is such an important part of the weekend, and I wanted our listeners to have a show that feels friendly, positive and full of great music. Mel is the perfect person for that, and I’m proud to see her on air even more.”
Listeners can tune in to the Saturday Breakfast Show with Mel Montagnon every Saturday from 7am to 10am through Sugar Kayne Radio’s website, app and DAB.
