SEBASTOPOL, CA - October 9, 2026 - The Switch Lab, a provider of hands-on electric vehicle education for schools and training programs, today announced its ASE xEV Certification Prep service. The program gives students, instructors and working technicians a clear way to study for the ASE xEV Level 1 certification and show employers that they have the skills to work on electric vehicles.

As electric vehicles become a larger part of the market, repair shops, dealerships and schools need people who understand high-voltage systems, batteries and electric drive technology. An industry-recognized credential gives employers confidence and gives job seekers a way to stand out.
