Remington College – Lafayette Campus is now offering an Electrician Diploma Program, providing students with hands-on training designed to help prepare them for entry-level positions in the electrical field. 1

The Electrician Diploma Program provides practical training in key areas of residential and commercial electrical work, including electrical safety, wiring and troubleshooting. Through hands-on labs and classroom instruction, students can develop foundational skills needed to work with electrical systems and apply industry-standard safety practices.

“Skilled trades offer students the opportunity to build practical, career-focused skills through hands-on learning,” said Jason Bruno, Campus President. “Our new Electrician Diploma Program gives students the opportunity to develop foundational electrical skills while gaining experience they can apply in residential and commercial settings.”

Students can study how to maintain a safe working environment by applying electrical safety standards and practices designed to help prevent hazards and support compliance with applicable regulations. The program also provides opportunities for students to develop practical skills in residential and commercial wiring and practice diagnosing and repairing electrical systems in an industry-standard lab setting.

The program is designed to help prepare students for entry-level positions in the electrical field by providing a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training. 1
