Consensuality has launched three two-night Garden Route proposal packages based at Naughty by Nature, its private couples cabin near Wilderness and George in the Western Cape. The packages are designed for couples who want the accommodation, proposal setting, photography and selected supporting services coordinated as part of one private stay.
The new offering provides an alternative to planning a marriage proposal across several separate venues and suppliers. The proposing partner briefs Consensuality privately before arrival, including the intended timing, what their partner knows and how the proposal should unfold. The cabin is then prepared before the couple arrives, while any included service providers are coordinated around the planned proposal window.
All three packages include two nights at Naughty by Nature, proposal styling and setup, proposal-moment photography and a private briefing designed to help protect the surprise.
The Ask is priced at R24,000 for two nights and includes the accommodation, full cabin styling and setup, proposal photography and private planning process.
The Ask Elevated is priced at R48,000 for two nights. It adds elevated styling, a private chef dinner experience, a 90-minute couples massage and a live musician.
The Full Seduction is priced at R53,000 for two nights and includes the most elaborate styling option together with a private chef dinner, 90-minute couples massage, proposal photography and live musician.
Consensuality recommends allowing at least 10 days before the intended stay so that the proposal details and relevant services can be coordinated.
Naughty by Nature is a private adults-only couples cabin near Wilderness and George on South Africa’s Garden Route. The property is reserved for the couple during the stay and includes a private hot tub, adults-only playroom and interiors designed around privacy and intimacy.
This gives couples the option of keeping the proposal, accommodation and time immediately afterwards in the same private setting rather than proposing at a public viewpoint, restaurant or tourist attraction and then moving on to separate accommodation.
The location also allows the two-night proposal stay to form part of a wider Garden Route holiday. Couples travelling through Wilderness, George and the surrounding region can incorporate the proposal into an existing South African road trip or plan the stay specifically around the engagement.
As Consensuality explains, the concept is built around providing “a private cabin near Wilderness and George, styled, staffed, and scored for the biggest moment of your relationship with none of the logistics landing on you.”
The suppliers included in the higher-tier packages attend for the parts of the experience where they are required rather than remaining on site throughout the stay. Once the proposal and selected services are complete, the remainder of the two nights is private for the couple.
Enquiries begin with the proposing partner sharing their preferred dates, information about their partner and the level of support they require. Consensuality then works through the selected package and coordinates the relevant proposal arrangements.
