In addition to her experience in corporate, she started Bakeology Studio in 2019 and was operational in 2020. It was a project on experiential learning and a couple of ideas by her.

In 2026, Kennedy University acknowledged Deepa as a Peace Ambassador and Honorary Doctorate, in recognition of Organisational Psychology, Strategic Management and Leadership. She publishes a book at GlobalX Publications, contributing to the masses a different and rich view of the subject.
