Amb. Dr. Deepa Chhagan Lalloo, aka Sunaina, is carving a legacy at the intersection of human capability, organisational psychology and business performance.

As Founder and Managing Director of Altius Global Advisory, she adds leading experience in executive leadership, organisational development, workforce transformation and business entrepreneurship.

She has a mix of corporate board and founding experience. In her capacity as Group MD, Human Resources and Human Capital at Ava Care Health Group, she spearheaded the design and centralisation of human capital functions across 18 subsidiaries in 12 countries in Africa, the UAE, India and Kazakhstan. She managed organisation structuring, governance, shared services, systems deployment and mergers and acquisitions integration.

She had responsibility for talent management, leadership development, succession planning and organisational effectiveness at BDO. From September 2018 – August 2025 she was an assessor for the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme, Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, for executive assessment and leadership development.

In 2026 Kennedy University duly acknowledged her as a Peace Ambassador and an honorary doctorate holder with (specialisation) in in Organisational Psychology, Strategic Management and Leadership. These honorary titles are a part of her professional journey as they are separate from her academic titles.
