She handled workforce transformation and organisational structuring, governance, financial integration, information technology deployment and the setup of shared-services.

Her involvement as an assessor for the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford deepened her engagement with senior leadership development.

She has entrepreneurial experience to add further depth to the professional profile. Her start up Bakeology Studio which she founded in 2019, opened in 2020. She is keen on hands-on skills acquisition and affordable vocational training (education) especially, in the hospitality industry and food & beverage. Her start up diversification and retail expansion, provided a hands-on experience of, business planning and development.

In 2026, Kennedy University conferred Deepa the title of Peace Ambassador and an honorary doctorate degree in Organisational Psychology, Strategic Management and Leadership.
