GlobalX Publications delivers to you the entrepreneurship and leadership journey of Amb. Dr. Deepa Chhagan Lalloo, through which she shares her journey of building business using practical skills to develop human capabilities.

Deepa is Founder and Managing Director of Altius Global Advisory, with extensive experience in organisational psychology, workforce transformation and executive leadership. Deepa's professional viewpoint is that skills development is most effective when real-world work contexts allow for application and impact.

This philosophy has also inspired the creation of Bakeology Studio, a company started by Deepa in 2019 and which is scheduled to be operational in 2020. It intended to address the disconnect between the acquisition of technical skills and affordable vocational education.

Gradually, the business evolved across a range of ideas, and grew a retail presence of as many as four stores. The growth of the enterprise involved business planning, team leadership, customer experience, and operating development and resourcing.

Her corporate role at Ava Care Health Group Global and BDO also enhanced her understanding of workforce planning, organisational development, talent management and leadership effectiveness.

The following year, the Kennedy University conferred Deepa, a Peace Ambassador, with an Honorary Doctorate. She received the doctorate in Organisational Psychology and Strategic Management and Leadership in 2026.

As an author at GlobalX Publications and Altius Global Advisory, she continues her journey contributing to the evolving conversations on development of humans, leadership and organisational development.
