Amb. Dr. Deepa Chhagan Lalloo Explores the Connection Between Business Strategy and Execution.

A business strategy can be said to create value if you're able to execute on it.

Amb. Dr. Deepa Chhagan Lalloo AKA Sunaina – with a background in executive management, human capital strategy and organisational change – is part of the team helping bridge the gap between strategy and execution.

As Founder and Managing Director of Altius Global Advisory, she influences business performance, organisational design and human capability. Her career has shown that an organisation's accountability, operational mechanisms and employees' functions are necessary for achieving the desired results.

At Ava Care Health Group Global, Deepa was the Executive Director of Human Resources and Human Capital. She was responsible for creating a centralized human capital function for 18 subsidiaries operating in 12 African countries, the UAE, India and Kazakhstan. This included Group governance, payroll, finance integration, IT implementation and shared services.

This was a piece of work which helped bring together contrasting operational demands in a multinational environment. It shows what needs to be in place for strategic priorities to have accountability and the right processes and cross organisational co-ordination to become normal business practice.

Previously, Deepa held roles at BDO in organisational development, talent management and performance management. As a assessor for Oxford Executive Leadership Programme at the University of Oxford, Saïd Business School, she delivered developmental feedback to senior executives.

MSc Organisational Psychology in the University of London. Her overarching development includes the fields of managerial finance, business sustainability management and organisational design.

University bestowed upon her a Peace Ambassadorship as well as an honorary doctorate in Organisational Psychology, Strategic Management and Leadership.
