Entrepreneurship - balancing strategic thinking and implementors work of service creation, business management and market response Amb. Dr. Deepa Chhagan Lalloo aka Sunaina has experienced both these aspects by running business alongside her corporate work and advisory role.

In her role as Founder and Managing Director of Altius Global Advisory she is passionate about human capability, leadership effectiveness and sustainable organisational growth. Her work experience has included human resources strategy, organisational development, organisational change and business consulting.

She launched her first company, Bakeology Studio in 2019, having launched in 2020. The business was set up to focus on an accessible approach to vocational learning and skills development, originally related to hospitality as well as food and beverage. The business expanded across different concepts and built up to 4 stores.

Scaling up and developing the business required business planning, leading a team, customer experience, finance, efficiency and resource allocation. These experiences provided hands-on experience in the importance of the core skills of the team to growing the business.

Prior to taking up entrepreneurship, Deepa also managed a senior Human Capital role at Ava Care Health Group Global and also in talent management and organisational development at BDO. She was a serving assessor for the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme, Saïd Business School, University of Oxford from September 2018 to August 2025.

In 2026, Kennedy University acknowledged her as Peace ambassador and an honorary doctorate in the field of Organisational Psychology, Strategic Management and Leadership. Author at GlobalX Publications.
