Her doctoral research explores sustainable healthcare management alongside areas including resource utilisation, innovation, digitalisation, waste management and stakeholder collaboration.

Professional experience has provided practical context for this academic development. Laizer has worked in sales and marketing, finance administration, accounting, billing, collections and financial reporting.

Since 2020, she has served as Senior Billing & Collection Administrator at Macrogen Europe BV, where she handles billing coordination, account monitoring, payment follow-up, collections and financial administration.

Earlier roles at Wittenborg University, Delta Electronics, Alter Domus and Greenlane provided experience across different business and finance functions in the Netherlands.

Laizer has continued to broaden her technical skills through a Data Analytics Programme at Ironhack in 2026.
