Thailand International Dog Show 2026 Redefines Pet Events with “The ICONIC” Community Festival Experience

Bangkok, Thailand – June 17, 2026 – IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. has announced a major transformation of Thailand International Dog Show 2026, repositioning the event from a traditional dog exhibition into Thailand’s first Dog Lovers’ Community Festival under the theme “The ICONIC.” Celebrating its 24th anniversary, the event embraces the philosophy that every dog is unique, regardless of breed, pedigree, or appearance.

Presented by KANIVA, Thailand International Dog Show 2026 will take place from June 25–28, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Hall 5–6, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok.

Thailand's pet economy continues to demonstrate strong momentum. According to recent industry data, Thailand's pet market is projected to exceed THB 100 billion in 2026, up from approximately THB 75 billion in 2024, driven by the growing “Pet Humanization” trend, where owners increasingly treat pets as family members. Thailand is expected to have more than 5.38 million pets nationwide, including approximately 3.45 million dogs and 1.94 million cats.

Demand is particularly accelerating in premium pet food, healthcare, pet technology, wellness services, insurance, and pet-friendly lifestyles, positioning Thailand as one of Southeast Asia's leading pet economies. Thailand also remains the world's second-largest exporter of pet food, reinforcing its importance as a regional hub for the pet industry.
Thailand International Dog Show 2026 Presented by KANIVA aims to become more than an exhibition. It seeks to create a welcoming and inclusive society where every dog is celebrated and every owner feels part of a larger community.

The event introduces a new direction inspired by the growing Pet Humanization trend, where pets are increasingly regarded as family members. This year’s ambassador is “Mootoo,” a social media sensation who became famous nationwide not because of breed certificates or competition titles, but because of his distinctive personality and charm. Mootoo perfectly embodies the event’s core message that every dog deserves love and recognition for its individuality.

“This is not just organizing an event for entertainment, but it is creating a New Standard for the Thai pet industry—a new chapter of history that is an open society, embracing differences, and driven by pure love.” — Mr. Nitipong Laohavisit, Executive Director of PET PROTECT COMPANY LIMITED. the main sponsor under the brand KANIVA.

One of the event’s signature highlights is “The Runway,” which embraces the “NO PET BEAUTY STANDARD” concept. Unlike traditional competitions reserved for purebred dogs, this inclusive platform welcomes all dogs, including mixed breeds and Thai Ridgebacks, allowing them to showcase their personalities alongside their owners. The event also celebrates diversity by welcoming members of the LGBTQ+ community to participate with their beloved pets.

Beyond entertainment, Thailand International Dog Show 2026 will offer immersive experiences designed to strengthen the bond between humans and dogs. Visitors can enjoy a live performance by popular Thai band Tattoo Colour, featuring “Old Stuff (รองเท้าเก่า),” a song specially created to express the emotional connection between dogs and their owners.

Another unique attraction is the “Dog Inclusive Fine Dining” experience, created in collaboration with Dusit Thani College. Using premium ingredients from KANIVA products, chefs will curate a shared dining experience where both humans and dogs can enjoy meals together, further reinforcing the concept of pets as family members.

Educational and wellness activities will also play a central role throughout the event. Visitors can participate in Puppy School sessions that teach owners how to better understand canine behavior, alongside wellness experiences such as Reiki and Sound Bath therapy for dogs.

The event also maintains a strong commitment to social responsibility through its Dog Adoption Zone and the “1 Baht for Hungry Dogs” initiative. In 2025, these programs successfully helped dozens of animals find new homes and provided mobility support to disabled animals.

According to Ms. Kunwadee Jintavorn, Executive Director of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., the evolution of the event reflects changing societal attitudes toward pets.

“Today, people no longer view pets as simply pets. They are family members and companions that significantly enrich our lives. Thailand International Dog Show 2026 is therefore designed as a true community festival that celebrates the relationship between humans and dogs.”

This year’s event is therefore not just one of Thailand’s largest dog lovers’ expos, but the first step for KANIVA and IMPACT in creating a society that truly embraces dogs as family members. Meet Mootoo and his four-legged friends, along with activities throughout the event, from June 25–28, 2026, at Hall 5–6, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.
