Vaughan, ON, October 27, 2026 — Homeowners in and around Toronto looking for shower glass doors now have access to a fully custom manufacturing and installation process backed by more than 20 years of experience. Based in Vaughan, Ontario, Shower Lagoon manufactures and installs custom frameless shower glass doors and enclosures. Every piece of glass is built to fit the customer’s completed shower. No pre-made panels, standard sizing, or stock products are used. The company serves homeowners and contractors in Toronto, Etobicoke, Vaughan, Woodbridge, Oakville, and Mississauga.
Every Shower Lagoon project begins with a visit to the customer’s home or job site. A team member takes exact measurements during the visit and then discusses glass style, hardware finish, and layout preferences with the customer. A quote is provided based on everything gathered on site.
Customers are not required to measure anything on their own. All dimensions are gathered by the Shower Lagoon team during the visit. Once the quote is approved, the glass is custom-built to those exact measurements. Shower Lagoon then returns to complete the installation. Because the glass was made for that specific shower, no changes are needed on installation day.
Shower Lagoon uses 10 mm-thick glass for virtually every shower project, as 6 and 8 mm glass does not have the required strength. For homeowners searching for shower glass doors in and around Toronto, that difference matters, as the 10 mm thickness provides the strength the installation requires.
Hardware is discussed and selected during the site visit to match the customer’s bathroom. Shower Lagoon uses hinges for shower glass doors, not pivots, which are better suited to heavier commercial glass such as gym doors, wine cellar doors, or office glass partitions. Hinges work better for shower glass doors because they give the smooth, consistent movement and clean look the installation needs. Handle style, hinge finish, and towel bars are chosen by the customer during the visit, with guidance from the Shower Lagoon team.
Shower Lagoon works with the most common shower configurations homeowners have, including corner enclosures with an L-shaped layout and straight inline enclosures. Both types are built the same way, with custom glass cut to fit the existing shower after a direct site visit and measurement. For homeowners searching for shower glass doors in and around Toronto, the process stays the same regardless of the shower shape or bathroom size. No two finished installations are identical because no two showers are built exactly alike.
