Writer and creator Utra Abel presents his debut musical-literary album, "Sunrise Appeal". This is not merely a collection of songs but an ambitious concept in which the author’s prose and poetry find their voice and sound. The album chronicles the story of a mature relationship across four stages: spiritual awakening ("Sunrise Appeal"), intimate vulnerability ("Coffee in the bed"), conscious partnership ("Stronger Together"), and family legacy ("Night day").
The project is designed for an audience that has outgrown mainstream pop and seeks depth, cinematic quality, and literary flair in music. It is fitting that "Sunrise Appeal" serves as the album's opening track; its lyrics were conceived at daybreak and took shape in just five minutes. Driven by raw emotion, the song emerged from someone far removed from the music industry. With an emotional resonance reminiscent of Ennio Morricone and Julio Iglesias, it stirs the feelings and captures the intimate experiences of lovers as night turns to morning.
The narrative unfolds, transitioning into the second track—written immediately after the first. The lyrics required a bit more time to craft, resulting in a dynamic, spirited exchange between masculine and feminine voices. This track, "Stronger Together," embodies the theme of conscious partnership. A fusion of Latin rock, hip-hop, and R&B, it provides an energizing boost that carries the listener through the rest of the album and the day ahead.
"Coffee in the bed" was produced after "Stronger Together," even though the initial idea for it came earlier; a smooth transition was needed. The lyrics are based on a short story from the author's collection,
"Good for Coffee in the bed". It reflects a near future where status is paramount—a world where a young woman of the highest status lives a creative life while searching for an ideal that does not exist. She finds it, yet must put both herself and this ideal to the test before revealing her true self.
Next comes the track "Night Day", a song aimed at children that will also give adults food for thought. Based on the fairy tale of the same name, it uses a meta-fantasy style to tell the story of an alternative world inhabited by children at night.
Then, the artist faced a creative growth crisis. He decided to create a biographical track to highlight the birth of his music, resulting in the high-energy song "Who Is This Utra Abel?" After all, a little extra positivity never hurts!
The album then shifts smoothly into slower R&B rhythms, with the vocal section concluding with the lullaby "Night Day."
Two instrumental tracks titled "Sunrise call" allow the listener to feel the music of the fading night and the birth of dawn—no lyrics needed.
This project is designed for an audience that has outgrown mainstream pop and seeks depth, cinematic quality, and literary flair in music. It is for those who cherish emotion and immersion in a world of fantasy and color.
The album will soon be available on all streaming platforms.
