The mission is being organized in conjunction with the VIETNAM FOOD EXPO 2026, the most complete food and food technology offers under one roof in Vietnam.

 
San Jose, CA, Sept., 2026 – The United States is the second-largest supplier of agricultural products to Vietnam, at $4.7 billion in 2025. Vietnam’s increasing population and rapidly growing gross domestic product (GDP) have benefited U.S. agricultural exports. The greatest potential for U.S. agricultural exports in the Vietnamese market includes U.S. fresh fruits, dairy products, poultry and poultry products, feed and feed ingredients, cotton, ethanol, and agricultural-related products.
At the same time, Vietnam is a major exporter of agricultural and seafood products to the United States, with exports expected to surpass $7 billion in 2025.  The US remains Vietnam's largest export destination, accounting for approximately 17.7% of the country's total export turnover. Key food export categories include: Seafood and Agricultural Products:
To further promote U.S.-Vietnam business cooperation especially in Agri products, the US-Vietnam Business Council (UVBC) is organizing the “US Food & Agri Mission to Vietnam from Nov. 08 to 14, 2026 to provide American companies with valuable opportunities to market and outsource Agri. products in Vietnam.
The mission is being organized in conjunction with the VIETNAM FOOD EXPO 2026, the most complete food and food technology offers under one roof in Vietnam. The Expo is organized by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Vietnam.
In addition, participants will receive a comprehensive business agenda including networking and business matching sessions, individual company visits designed to help them maximize their time in Vietnam and develop beneficial commercial relationships.
More importantly, UVBC is committed to continuing its support for participants by following up on business initiatives identified during the mission. and to assist participants, where appropriate, in developing those relationships into potential business partnerships.

UVBC is a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization established in California in 2022 to establish and maintain a connecting platform for American and Vietnamese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to identify and develop mutually-beneficial projects in Vietnam.
