As the Founder and Managing Director of Altius Global Advisory, she concentrates on organisation design, business performance, and human capability. Throughout her career, she learned that we should always take into account the structure of the workforces with our systems and the needs of the business.

Deepa was Executive Director of Human Resources and Human Capital at Ava Care Health Group Global. She was responsible for the development and centralisation of human capital functions across 18 subsidiaries in 12 African countries, the UAE, India and Kazakhstan. Her scope was payroll, finance integration, governance, IT implementation, and shared services.

These activities link workforce management to financial and operational processes. Strong alignment can enable organisations to put in place more uniform processes, identify who is accountable and assist more accurate resource planning. Leaders need also to assess whether their organisation's staffing, structural and capability development needs are aligned with the business goals.

Deepa's professional development comprises Managerial Finance and MBA Essentials from the London School of Economics in 2018. She holds a MSc in Organisational Psychology from the University of London, merging academic expertise in human behaviour with practical experience in the business arena.

She previously worked at BDO and in the domain of talent management, organisational development and performance management. Kennedy University awarded her in 2026, as Peace Ambassadorship and honorary Doctorate specialised in Organisational Psychology, Strategic Management and Leadership.
