Amb. Dr. Deepa Chhagan Lalloo Highlights the Importance of Building a Distinct Professional Identity.

Professional visibility is developed by experience, expertise, accomplishment and the ability to promote a point of view. Amb. Dr. Deepa Chhagan Lalloo, aka Sunaina, has a multifaceted career encompassing organisational psychology, human capital and business leadership and entrepreneurship and shares her insights on professional visibility.

She is Founder and Managing Director of Altius Global Advisory, working in the areas of organisational effectiveness, executive leadership and human capability. Her professional journey spans multinational HR functions at Ava Care Health Group Global, talent management and organisational development at BDO and entrepreneurship through Bakeology Studio.

All these experiences can serve as learning processes of how professionals can master skills in different environments, whilst still holding a central core of work. Through writing articles, books, papers and journals, sharing this process can be a way of sharing 'hard-won' skills with others.

Deepa has been an assessor for the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, September 2018 – August 2025. MSc (Organisational Psychology) – University of London. BA – University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.

Throughout her career she has exhibited a keen passion in the areas of leadership, business performance, human development and organisational change. In 2026 the Kennedy University officially awarded her a Peace Ambassadorship and an honorary doctorate in Organisational Psychology, Strategic Management & Leadership.
