Amb. Dr. Deepa Chhagan Lalloo Highlights the Role of Professional Networks in Knowledge Exchange.

When professional knowledge is at one's disposal for other people to evaluate, implement and improve, then professional knowledge is real.

Ambassador Dr. Deepa Chhagan Lalloo aka Sunaina brings to the discussion professional knowledge exchange experience in executive leadership, organisational psychology and entrepreneurship.

She is Founder and Managing Director of Altius Global Advisory, an organisation that offers specialist advice on human capability, organisational performance and business development. Her career has included engaging with organisational structures and human capital and facilitating executive learning.

From September 2018- August 2025, Deepa was an assessor for the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme, Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. She assessed senior executives and offered developmental feedback, providing a bridge between strategic leadership ideas and real-world challenges.

Part of her corporate background comprises directing the human capital functions at 18 subsidiaries in 12 different African countries, as well as in the UAE, India and Kazakhstan for the Ava Care Health Group Global. She had to do this at multiple levels of operations.

Networking gives people an opportunity to share views, learn from others' experiences and find areas where they can work together. Publishing provides a means of extending that exchange by making professional knowledge available to those outside someone's immediate circle or workplace.

Deepa has an MSc in Organisational Psychology from the University of London and a BA from University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. She has undertaken further executive development, including studies in sustainability management, management finance and organisational design.

In 2026, she was presented by Kennedy University as a Peace Ambassadorship and an honorary Doctorate with specialisation in Organisational Psychology, Strategic Management and Leadership.

By being an author, she hopes to help other authoring community share the professional experience and knowledge with others.
