Amb. Dr. Deepa Chhagan Lalloo Examines the Role of Change Readiness in Organisational Transformation.

Organisational changes require planning within a business which include the implementation of a new structure or system.

Organisations also need to prepare their people, provide clarity around expectations and establish operational processes that will support the change. Amb. Dr. Deepa Chhagan Lalloo (Sunaina) has experience in human capital management and organisational development.

Through her role as Founder and Managing Director of Altius Global Advisory, she works in the areas of organisational effectiveness, people transformation and human capability. Her professional experience demonstrates how different drivers for a change in the organisation need to be considered with the impact on people in mind.

Deepa was the Executive Director Human Resources and Human Capital at Ava Care Health Group Global, where she developed and centralised human capital operations of 18 subsidiaries across 12 African countries, the UAE, India and Kazakhstan. She was accountable for organisational design, governance, shared services and implementation of IT.

In these types of work, the organisation will need to determine: employees' or managers' readiness; risks of change, employee or manager roles and responsibilities; and how functions are combined and embedded in operation.

Deepa's work at BDO was in organisational development, learning and development, talent management and leadership development. During 2018-2019 she undertook professional development in organisational design, change management and lean leadership.

She holds a MSc Organisational Psychology from the University of London. She was awarded Kennedy University Peace Ambassadorship and Doctorate with specialisation Organisational Psychology, Strategic Management and Leadership in 2026.

Her career demonstrates that those in organisations can benefit from the intervention of planning and synchronised implementation.
