Amb. Dr. Deepa Chhagan Lalloo also identified as Sunaina has an educational qualifications in organisational psychology and real-world working experience in human capital management (HCM) to this vital Business discipline.

She is Founder and Managing Director at Altius Global Advisory, dedicated to human capability, organisational design, executive leadership and business performance. Her work is grounded in the belief that organisational effectiveness and success is about more than structures and processes – it is about how people understand their role, evolve their capabilities and deliver collective purpose.

Deepa has an MSc in Organisational Psychology (University of London, 2012) and a BA from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg (2009). Her studies form the basis of her broader professional interest in understanding the dynamics of the relationship between human behaviour and organisational performance.

Within her career at BDO, she held portfolios in talent management, organisational development, learning and development, leadership development and performance management. At Ava Care Health Group Global, she pioneered and consolidated the human capital functions for 18 of their subsidiaries in 12 African countries, the UAE, India and Kazakhstan.

Such experiences offer a clear view of ways in which organisational psychology can contribute to organisational workforce planning, leadership development and change. The behavioural knowledge combined with the organisational goals of the business can enable organisational leaders to take a range of views.

Deepa's additional activities include: Being an assessor for the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, assessing senior executives, and providing developmental feedback.

She was awarded a Peace Ambassadorship and an honorary doctorate in 2026 by Kennedy University with specialisations in Organisational Psychology, Strategic Management and Leadership.
