Deepa has held senior roles in Executive Leadership, Organisational Psychology, Human Resources Strategy & Entrepreneurship & Business Advisory. Founder and Managing Director of Altius Global Advisory, she is passionate about the intersection of human capability and organisational performance and the practical application of leadership effectiveness and sustainable growth.

She has extensive experience leading human capital operational functions at AvaCare Health Group Global in 18 subsidiaries in 12 African nations, India, UAE and Kazakhstan. She has also been involved in aspects of organisational development, talent management, leadership development and employee engagement within BDO.

In addition to her corporate endeavors, she has also been an entrepreneur with the creation of Bakeology Studio in 2019. The business started in 2020 and evolved through different concepts based on her expertise in business development, skills-oriented courses and operational management.

She holds an MSc in Organisational Psychology from the University of London as well as a BA from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. In 2026 she was awarded an honorary doctorate with a Peace Ambassadorship, and a specialisation in Organisational Psychology, Strategic Management and Leadership by Kennedy University.
